Durehete Properties

Authoritative property data for Durehete 1055, 950 and 900 Cr-Mo-V-Ti-B bolting steels. Chemistry per EN 10269 / VdTUV-W350, mechanical properties at room and elevated temperature, full creep-rupture curves to 100,000 hours, heat-treatment cycle and hardness ranges in the quenched-and-tempered condition.

Chemical Composition

C/Mn/Si/Cr/Mo/V/Ti/B limits for all three grades per EN 10269.

Mechanical Properties

Yield strength, tensile strength, elongation and reduction-of-area in the Q+T condition.

Creep Rupture

100,000-hour stress-rupture curves at 500–580°C for each grade.

Elevated-Temperature Properties

Tensile and yield retention at 400–600°C, hot-hardness data.

Heat Treatment

Austenitize, oil-quench and temper cycles for each grade per EN 10269 Annex A.

Welding

Preheat, interpass and PWHT requirements; weld-decay considerations for bolting stock.

Machinability

Cutting parameters for thread-rolling, drilling and turning in the Q+T condition.

Hardness

Brinell, Rockwell and Vickers ranges in the Q+T condition; through-thickness profile.
